The first photo is of my mom Jean Gunter and myself (Rosemarie Stephenson). We had lots of holidays, mostly in caravans, sometimes chalets but always in the UK. The second photo is me aged 1 year 9 months and was taken in Rhyl 1961. My Father’s car, in the background was a Reliant Regal. Possibly a Mk IV, 3 wheeler.

David Stanley


The first one is my dad he is about 6 and that was in the back garden (my nan still lives in the house). The picture next to it is my brother (his son), in our back garden roughly 15 months old, holding a football. The bottom right picture is my dad holding my son the day he was born. I am his first child and that was mine.

My Grandparents, Arthur, Nellie Lewis. They were married in July 1915, at St Saviour's Church, Saltley. He was a Blacksmith's Striker, aged 24. She was 23 and looked after her younger brothers and sisters until they married.
