This Autumn GRAIN Projects have been working in collaboration with the Royal British Legion National Remembrance Gardens to explore themes of ‘Remembrance’ with groups and individuals from across England.

The creative photography workshops and activities have been led by Kate Peters, supported by Stephen Burke, Emma Case and Anu Gamanagaria.

Personal stories, memories and photography have been shared to encourage contemplation about Remembrance and its place in people’s lives, considering how service and sacrifice are remembered in different communities and across generations.

The project is a celebration of diverse stories, images and lived experiences, promoting creativity and widening participation.

A selection of the photography captured through the project will be showcased in an online gallery and on a digital display at the National Remembrance Gardens.
