Thrift Radiates Happiness is the first contemporary arts exhibition to be held at the Municipal Bank in Birmingham.   A historic landmark building, Grade II listed, will be the space for a captivating four day contemporary arts exposition, curated by Charlie Levine.  The title of the exhibition ‘Thrift Radiates Happiness’ comes from an inscription found carved across a main beam within the building.  The artists exhibiting new work include emerging Birmingham based photographer Julie Tsang who makes work influenced by environments and placing emphasis on the value that a building can have towards societal values and culture.
