Thirty of the region’s best emerging artists are showcasing their work in New Art West Midlands.  The exhibitions at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, the Barber Institute, Herbert Art Gallery and Wolverhampton Art Gallery feature an eclectic mix of artists and art forms,  all recent graduates from regional universities.

New Art West Midlands (NAWM) is a Turning Point West Midlands (TPWM) initiative with gallery partners and universities in the West Midlands. All exhibiting artists have graduated from one of the West Midlands’ undergraduate and postgraduate fine art degree courses in the past three years, encompassing Birmingham City University, Coventry University, Staffordshire University, University of Wolverhampton and University of Worcester.

Amna Malik, Senior Lecturer in Art History, Slade School of Art.

John Newling, artist and former Professor of Installation Sculpture at Nottingham Trent University.

Bedwyr Williams, artist.
