GRAIN, the photography hub and network for the West Midlands, is pleased to announce the next in its programme of professional development opportunities, to be hosted at the new Library of Birmingham.
During the morning there will be a series of talks by expert professionals including photography researcher, critic and curator Federica Chiocchetti , artist photographer Max Kandhola, photographic critic, writer, broadcaster and photo-editor Sue Steward, curator, educator and writer Moritz Neumüller and Curator of Photography Collections at Library of Birmingham Pete James. In the afternoon participants will engage in advice sessions and one to one reviews aimed at helping emerging photographers, artists who work in photography and students to develop a professional portfolio.
The day is a must for emerging photographers who wish to understand how to develop their work and their portfolio in order to secure opportunities.
The event is ticketed and places must be booked in advance.
