Caught in the Crossfire explores how artists have responded to the brutality of war and the desire for peace and reconciliation.  The exhibition includes historical and contemporary work and is a collection developed through the HLF Collecting Cultures scheme. 

The exhibition includes works by Iraqi Kurdish photographer Jamal Penjweny from his series ‘Iraq is Flying’, Simon Norfolk’s photographs of Afghanistan and Nancy Davenport’s ‘Library’.
